Eli Liberty is an American, Blasian-Cuban Rhythm & Pop singer who was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. He grew up listening to a wide variety of music from artists like Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey as well as Britney Spears, The Spice Girls and *NSYNC. His passion for performing emerged to his family in Kindergarten where he was often cast as the lead in the annual school musicals. After this, he began vocal lessons and even started performing in his basement for his family during Holidays. As he grew older, his fire grew larger especially after discovering artists like Chris Brown and Usher. Along with singing, he is also a songwriter, actor, music engineer, and choreographer. He is best known for his hit, “Just Fine” (2020) from his album, He Cried Pink: Venus Reborn. Eli has trained with the Joffrey Ballet, traveled with one of the most prestigious high school choirs in the nation and now has garnered a following of 24 thousand on Instagram. Eli stands as an advocate against bullying after being bullied through grade and high school, for the recognition of the importance of mental health and suicide prevention, for LGBTQ+ rights and protection and also as a pioneer for black men who may feel misunderstood by the toxic masculinity mold. He is heavily inspired by Korean Pop music. "I aspire to bring the intricate storytelling and invigorating live performances of Korean Pop culture to pop culture in America through my music." Along with this, he hopes that his music can help guide, save lives and inspire others just as music has always done for him. In 2019, Eli began his new series “He Cried Pink” which details the retelling of a past relationship and his journey to self-love. In February 2020 Eli's Supporters began to call themselves the "#Moonbaes" which also references Eli's first project, "Cry For The Moon”. The release of "Just Fine" stapled Eli into the independent music market as a reputable artist sparking the interest of the North-east region with a heavy push in the Philadelphia and Boston areas. On February 11, 2020 “Just Fine” hit number 1 on Philadelphia’s Pop Smash Radio countdown with over 1,500 requests and votes. On June 23, 2020 Eli won 5 awards from the Pop Smash Radio Awards in Philadelphia, PA for the categories “Top Anthem”, “Top Male Video”, “Top Choreography”, “Song Of The Year” and “Video Of The Year” for his single “Just Fine”. Eli accepted his awards thanking the entire team behind the making of “Just Fine”, his manager and of course his beautiful #Moonbaes who support him so heavily. "Just Fine" spent 1 year and 3 weeks on the Pop Smash Radio Countdown before being replaced by his single, "Dumb." the following week peaking at number 3 leaving Eli to now be on the charts for 60 consecutive weeks. With these many blessings, Eli is looking forward to the next step of his career, preparing for his next era and hoping to make his #Moonbaes proud with all that he does.
On June 16, 2021, Eli began his preparation for the release of the “Drippy.” Music Video with a Private Viewing Mixer featuring multiple Media Outlets and #Moonbaes that were excited to share the new material. After gaining heavy positive feedback, on June 18, 2021 Eli Liberty released the Official Music Video for his Single “Drippy.” through IGTV and YouTube to the world. On July 14th, 2021 Eli held his first headlining concert the “Pink Polaris” Concert which was held in Atlanta, GA on featuring RikoWithAK and Ki West as Opening Acts.
In 2022, Eli began his Anti-Bullying campaign with the release of his single, “ODDS.” which was released on February 25. He also achieved 100,000 streams on Spotify for his English Cover of "Serendipity (Jimin's Outro) by Jimin Park of BTS (K-Pop Group) who is a member that he is inspired by and received his first Spotify Plaque.
Eli is in the studio working on his next EP, “ENIGMA” which will feature “ODDS.” and more. "ENIGMA." is Eli's first release through his distribution deal with Empire/Universal Music Group's, AVEHRE INC. and will feature a more mature and darker tone that captures the growth that Eli has gone through not only as an artist, but a person through topics that cross genre's and express ideas on personality, identity, mentality, self love, self loathing, fear and confidence.
